Tree Wardens ready to go!
Mulch helps keep the soil moist, the weeds suppressed and the strimmers away.
Chris, Martin and David finishing off one of the replacements
Looking much better!
Around 5 years ago, Plymouth Tree People planted trees either side of Segrave Road.
The volunteer Tree Wardens recently ran 2 sessions there. The first to prune, mulch and remove tree guards and the second, to replace 3 trees which had died.
We are determined that the new trees will survive so will be keeping a close eye on them If any residents of Segrave Road would like to help us ensure these new trees establish that that would be wonderful! Later in the year we will put tree watering bags on the 3 new trees and they will require regular refills.
