Double Tree Warden session in Central Park

Two groups of Tree Wardens got to work this week in Central Park!

The small, community orchard alongside Swarthmore allotment which is usually overgrown and looking unloved, was given some attention by one group who mulched and tended to the trees. They even had enough wood chip left over to make a path through the trees, to encourage people to stray from the main path into the orchard.

The second group replaced 2 Horse chestnuts on Coronation Avenue and new Tree Warden, Amanda, has agreed to keep them watered, which is great!
