Mulching
A sterling effort
John hard at it
Chris delivery mulch
Tracy and Ivor
A great effort!
The result!
The first mobile group Tree Warden session of this season saw 8 volunteers take on the daunting task of clearing a mulching a hedgerow with hundreds of whips in the Ferry Road Field, off Park Avenue in Devonport.
Over 110m of newly planted hedgerow had become overgrown which meant some of the new trees and shrubs were not doing as welll as they could. The Tree Wardens were joined by Henry, the Green Communities Ranger for Devonport and in just 2 and a half hours the hedgerow was transformed. Such a great effort!
To visit the field which has loads of fruit trees head to What3words ///think.feel.forces. The field is off Park Avenue in Devonport.
