Superb effort by everyone to plant trees in Thorn Park and Mutley Park!
Lots of happy volunteers turned out, despite the weather, to plant a Mulberry tree and Golden Rain tree, which was in dedication to Gloria's parents. A tree which she has been growing at home for years.
A special thank you to Jan and Vera from the Park Pharmacy Trust for warming us up and providing hot drinks and sweet treats afterwards. What a fascinating place! A few new tree wardens came out too and also, thanks to Stephen from PSDCF and the PCC chaps for organising the stakes, mulch and guards.
