In February 2025, PTP were joined by over 20 volunteers, plus children and teachers from Oreston Academy, to plant 12 new trees in Radford Park to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first tree being planted in the Radford Arboretum.

Read more about the history of the arboretum on their website or in a Diary of a Tree Warden, on The Tree Council's website.

PTP were invited by local residents Graham, Kevin and Jenny to plant new trees in the park and we were delighted we could help! The planting was funded by the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest. Through the Community Forest, we were also able to obtain funding to replace the 2 benches which had been removed.
